OUR SERVICES
Leadership training is important because it enables professionals to create and sustain a more effective work environment, one in which everyone thrives. Strong leaders are better at negotiating, managing conflict, interacting with colleagues and maximising employee performance. As such, if you would like to develop a more inclusive and efficient workforce, we have leadership programmes that will help you with this.
Confidence is critical because it can either open doors or close doors for each individual. For those who have been out of work, education or training, it is inevitable that their confidence levels will be affected negatively. Lack of knowledge, fear of the unknown, past experiences and low self-worth can also impact an individual’s confidence negatively. Bridging the Gap CILD are here to help with bespoke programmes that will help service users believe in themselves once again.
“You cannot teach a man anything. You can only help him discover it within himself.” - Galileo Galilei
Our mentoring service strives to help our service users live a life of purpose and become the best version of themselves by discovering what lies within. In addition to 1:2:1 and group mentoring we also provide training for aspiring mentors. Our mentors are trained, knowledgeable and experienced and offer impactful and transformational engagement.
“A man without a purpose is like a ship without a rudder - never likely to reach the port.” - Thomas S. Monson
Most therapeutic models are deficit-based, beginning with the question, “what went wrong”. Our approach, however, is asset driven, beginning with the question, “what is right with you”. Our aim is to raise your level of self-awareness, bring clarity to understanding your ‘whys’ and take you beyond your limiting beliefs. We believe that you already have everything you need to succeed within you; therefore, we facilitate the process of you discovering that for yourself.

Humans are naturally resilient, however, life experiences and setbacks in their personal and professional lives often create an internal narrative that disempowers them. How an individual responds to these impediments is critical. Resilience building will enable service users to discover the importance of resilience, develop their resilience, safeguard themselves in the face of stress and trauma and develop the ability to climb over life’s obstacles rather than be defeated by them.
Our Entrepreneurship programmes provide insight into what is required to become an entrepreneur. This approach calls on the need for innovation and creativity where service users learn through doing (creating and presenting a business idea) and reflecting on their experiences. They are challenged to think about the future and visualise possible opportunities.
We assist service users in creating their business plans, improve their decision-making process and create achievable goals. For service users who are interested in working in business or creating their own business, this programme will teach you all of the most essential and critical skills that will make that business a real success.
This is designed to help service users discover what it is to be enterprising, how to use their skills, abilities and attributes and how to turn their creative ideas into a business. Our enterprise programme covers topics such as decision making, how to generate an idea, commercial awareness and strategic thinking. Participants are required to participate in an enterprise challenge. Those who are seeking jobs will have a higher chance of success if they have strong enterprise skills.
Social and emotional learning is the process in which an individual learns to understand and manage their emotions and those of others (emotional intelligence). Emotional intelligence is key to an individual’s success as it allows them to manage their relationships. These skills are also very important because it enables an individual to express care, adapt when faced with challenges and build sound relationships. We can help you to develop a growth mindset that will enable you to develop your emotional intelligence.
Intrapersonal skills allow an individual to be more self-aware, understand why they are here and have the ability to shape their own lives. Interpersonal skills are the social skills or people skills that are used when interacting with another person. Both are important elements which will affect the character of an individual and Bridging the Gap CILD can help you to develop these essential skills.
Career Development is crucial to job satisfaction. An individual is unable to experience personal satisfaction without growth. The growth process not only allows you to develop a deeper level of understanding of yourself but it raises your sense of achievement and fulfilment. We are here to help service users work towards creating a career plan, set goals to achieve these objectives with a structured framework that will ensure they can achieve these goals.
